Tennessee Diamonds

Diamond fans,
Gallatin got a lot of rain but, are still planning on starting on time. I will receive an update at 6:45 am Saturday morning. Our be at the park ready to warm-up time is 7:45. So, I will send a text message update at that time. However, for those of you traveling more than an hour to reach the park I realize this will not help you. We are at the mercy of the weather and have no option but to head to Tripple Creek park and hope for the best. Radar looks good at this point and I believe we will start on time and get in our two pool games as scedueled. For those of you who have EasyUps, please bring them. We will have rain at some point in the day. Tripple Creek has no cover. We can combine all of our easyups for enough cover for all of our gear and players and fans. Thanks and see you all in the morning.

I will receive a update on the fields at 8:30 pm tonight. As soon as I get the update I will post a message and send a text message on the update. The rain should move out tonight and not get bad again until tomorrow afternoon. So, I look foward to being able to play our first two pool games anyway. Stay tuned for more information.

Proud of all the girls in Dalton. Good teams find a way to win and we found it with our bats in Dalton. Defence got rough a couple of times but our bats carried us through.
Congratulations to Glavine for the Two RBI shot in the simifinal game to keep us alive and then to come across the plate with the go ahead run. Nice job behind the plate for Kat and HB. Both throwing out base runners at 2nd. Oh, and nice job speedy breaking the fence in center.

Wanted to let everyone know how pleased I was with their performance this weekend. I know we made Coach Mike proud. We get better every tournament. Keep up the hard work.

We finished fourth out of 9 teams. The Force beat Worth to win the Championship. I wished we could have played them. Here are the results:
